FAQs

  • Great question! Brand sessions are custom-tailored to your brand. So, after booking, we will have a strategy phone call to discuss ALL of the details of your session, including location.

Several of my clients don’t have a storefront or office space, so if this is you, not to worry! I will make location suggestions based on the type of images we are trying to achieve during your session. Including, but not limited to…

    - Your office/workspace (if applicable)
    - Peerspace rentals that fit your brand aesthetic
    - Shopping centers, urban locations, coffee shops, outdoor settings, in nature, etc.

  • Believe it or not, I hear this from almost every single client I work with. I love to remind all of my clients that you/we are not models! You don’t have to be good in front of the camera, that’s where I come in!

My job is to make you look and feel your best. Photography is not just about taking pretty pictures, but a huge part of it is interacting with clients and giving great direction. And as humbly as I can say this, this is one of my strengths as a photographer.

I will walk you through every step of our session, giving you lots of direction along the way. And I am always looking out for stray hairs, the dreaded double chin, and hair ties on the wrist. I got you!

  • Each brand is unique and so are its needs! Download my pricing guide here to get all the deets!

  • These two words are tossed around very loosely! I typically have to ask clients some follow-up questions to get a better understanding of what they are looking for…

Headshots- taken from the waist up. Typically used for profile photos or on your about page. These usually don’t take your brand into consideration.

Brand Photos- Brand photos are a mixture of classic headshots (because we all need those) as well as natural lifestyle photos. Brand photos include full body, waist up, and everything in between. Unlike a headshot session, brand sessions are custom-tailored to your brand to curate images specifically to meet your brand’s needs.

  • There are so many photographers out there who can take pretty photos and call it a “brand session”. But do they know how to apply strategy to them? My marketing degree and experience with brand development are what set me apart.

Each business is different, and so are their needs! I consult with each of my clients to discuss their brand in detail. We also discuss business goals and make a plan to capture photos that will help push their business forward.

I encourage clients to remember that this is an investment in your business! Before you go looking for the least expensive option out there, consider if your money is being well spent. Will it result in a return on investment?
